Hi, I'm Shaheen and Shiny is my childhood nickname which is still used to this day...Hence the name Shiny Arts Photography.  Arts and photography is because I am  mad about anything creative and love to capture life with photographs. I love meeting new people, seeing the world in different ways and enjoy capturing personality, emotion, and beautiful moments.

I also love creating fine art, still life and digital art  images to share with clients and can be purchased as framed prints, canvas and even greeting cards.

I offer other photography services too. So if you see any services not covered on my home page please get in touch to discuss. I have covered small weddings, christenings, nursery, school  and charity events.

I live in Kingston Upon Thames and 5 minutes away from beautiful Richmond Park, with my son and our crazy  very old cat pebbles. Am a very proud mum to my grown up son Ashish, a professional chef. On rare days when he feels like cooking at home (after work) he makes the best dishes and teaches me a few things (Have learnt how to make pretty carrot ribbons but still cant poach an egg!)

I have had a passion to capture the world around me ever since I can remember. I have boxes of photos from school trips, trips abroad, family events my son growing up and have found some film rolls that still need developing. I love surprises...I hope with these film rolls too!

Most of my career spanning nearly the last 20 years has included teaching and training in the community, promoting life long learning including an art therapy approach to teaching arts and crafts... After a career break due to health issues I decided to embark on my own business. As well as photography I still like to juggle few things here and there including tutoring.
